Wagga Wagga Health Service
Wagga Wagga Hospital is a 256-bed level four-five hospital which provides acute and community health care services to the surrounding community. The Hospital provides Emergency, Coronary Care, Intensive Care, High Dependency, Medical, Surgical, Paediatric, Obstetrics, Renal, Rehabilitation, Dementia Assessment and Acute Mental Health services. Temporary staff accommodation may be available.
As part of the broader Wagga Wagga Health Services Redevelopment, a new 50-bed Mental Health Inpatient Unit will open in October 2013. This development expands the services currently offered at the Wagga Wagga campus, including 20 new sub-acute beds as well as 10 additional acute inpatient beds.
The redevelopment creates exciting new opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Allied Health Staff in the following units/services:
- Adult Acute Inpatient
- Adult Sub-acute Inpatient
- Adult Community Team
