Mental Health Services
Sometimes people experience mental health difficulties such as thoughts of suicide, suicidal behaviours, psychosis (which includes seeing or hearing things that aren't present), or feelings of anxiety and depression.
If you, or someone you know, is experiencing current difficulties with mental health, assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week over the telephone by trained mental health professionals. They provide support, advice and, if appropriate, a referral will be made to your local Specialist Community Mental Health team within Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
Accessline - 1800 800 944
AccessLine provides the same service as the Mental Health Line within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
Please note: if imminent risk of harm to self or others is identified, Emergency Services will be asked to assist.
Mental Health Line - 1800 011 511
The Mental Health Line is a single number, state-wide 24-hour mental health telephone access service.
Anyone with a mental health issue can use the Mental Health Line to speak with a mental health professional and be directed to the right care for them.
Carers, other health professionals and emergency service workers can also use the Mental Health Line for advice about a person's clinical symptoms, the urgency of the need for care, and local treatment options.
