Our Performance

At Murrumbidgee Local Health District we regularly monitor our performance, reflect on successes and make plans to address areas for improvement.

To continue to deliver exceptional rural healthcare we are prioritising the outcomes that matter to patients, their experience and the experience of our staff, to deliver our services in the most efficient way possible.

Each year, we set a number of key organisational goals, in addition to the key performance indicators set out in our Service Agreement with NSW Health. These reflect important areas for us to be accountable for and improve outcomes for our people, locally.

External Performance Measures
The Bureau of Health Information publishes annual performance for all hospitals in NSW. To see how MLHD facilities compare with other hospitals on key performance and patient experience measures.

The Australian Atlas of Healthcare Variation Series provides detailed information about variation in the Australian Healthcare system. Variation in the rates of specific clinical conditions and the care provided is demonstrated between people living in different areas, with and without socioeconomic disadvantage, and between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians and other Australians. The most recent version of the Atlas is available in the External Links listed on this page.
