Get Healthy

The NSW Get Healthy Service provides health coaching and information over the phone to help you get healthy and stay healthy.

Get Healthy Coaches can support you with:

  • Eating heathy food
  • Healthy meal planning on a budget
  • Being active at home
  • Drinking less alcohol
  • Choosing healthier habits
  • How to achieve your health goals
  • Getting past what might have stopped you reaching your goal before
  • Health Information and tools

Staying active, eating healthy and leading a healthy lifestyle is important during the COVID-19. We have a number of different programs to match your needs. 

The service is free for all people living in NSW aged 16 years and over. Health coaching is available between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday at a time to suit you.

Register now and a health coach will call you within 7 days.

For individuals

If you’re looking for some help to make healthy changes to eat well, move more, reduce alcohol or have a healthy pregnancy, the Get Healthy Service is for you.

What you get:

  • Your own expert health coach
  • Free and confidential telephone based service
  • Advice and coaching to build healthy eating and exercise habits
  • Up to 13 calls over 6 months at times that suit you

All from the comfort of your own home. 

For workplaces

Get Healthy at Work is a free workplace health promotion initiative. It aims to improve worker's health by helping them make small changes to their lifestyles. Support is offered to businesses to create healthier workplace environments.

The program helps focus on the following health areas: 

  • Smoking
  • Healthy eating
  • Physical activity
  • Active travel 
  • Alcohol consumption
  • Mental wellbeing.

The program offers Healthy Lifestyle Checks with the option of referrals into the Get Healthy Service for individual workers. For the employer and workplace, resources are available to develop a simple Action Plan. The Action Plan can address a priority health area and support from the Get Healthy at Work team is available.
