The Gundagai Multipurpose Service (MPS) is a 30 bed facility with 12 hospital care beds and 18 residential aged care beds. Gundagai MPS provides a 24 hour Accident and Emergency Department which is equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team in Gundagai with specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service, ensuring you get the care you need.
Community health services include community nursing, a range of visiting services including child and family immunisation, dietetics, mental health/ drug and alcohol, speech pathology, women’s health and a Geriatrician who visits 2 or 3 times a year.
Location
Gundagai is in one of the most picturesque areas of the Riverina. It's located on the Murrumbidgee River, a one hour drive east of Wagga Wagga, a 90 minute drive to Canberra and just over three hours drive to Sydney.
With a population of just under 2,000, Gundagai is an iconic Australian country town and boasts a fun selection of sporting pursuits including bowls, golf, cycling, swimming, kayaking and canoeing. There are also a range of cultural experiences including regular markets, galleries and emporiums.
