Hay Health Service

About Us

The Hay Health Service is a 27 bed facility with nine hospital care beds and 16 residential aged care beds. Hay Health Service provides a 24 hour Accident and Emergency Department which is equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team in Hay with specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service.

A range of primary health care services are also provided at Hay Hospital including community nursing, early childhood nursing, mental health services, palliative care, physiotherapy, speech therapy and nutritian.

Location

Hay is in the western Riverina region of southwest New South Wales, situated on the banks of the Murrumbidgee river and surrounded by vast open grasslands.

With just under 2,500 residents Hay boasts a rich and interesting history and a friendly community and is generally regarded as one of the best wool growing merino regions in Australia.
