About Us

The West Wyalong Health Service includes a 22 hospital bed facility along with a range of community health services.

The 24 hour Accident and Emergency Department is equipped with telehealth cameras to connect the team in West Wyalong with specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service and the remote Medical Consult Service, ensuring the get the care you need.

Pathology services and X-ray are provided as well as a number of community health services such as Aboriginal Health, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Services, Palliative Care and Physiotherapy Services.

Location 

West Wyalong is a town located in the central west region of New South Wales at the cross roads of the Newell and Mid-Western highways. 

The district is the largest cereal producing centre in NSW with a rich gold heritage. The main street was built around gold diggings and old tree stumps, earning the famous ‘crooked mile’ nickname.

With over 3000 people residing in West Wyalong, a range of great education options are available and also a variety of sporting opportunities. 

West Wyalong is just over 2 hours north of Wagga Wagga and 6 ½ hours drive from Sydney.
