Infectious Diseases 

Infectious diseases are caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi and can cause illness that may require urgent public health intervention to reduce the spread of infection.

Infectious diseases can be spread from a person or the environment and it’s important we act quickly should there be an outbreak of an infectious disease.

If you think you have been exposed to an infectious disease, please seek medical attention.

How will our Infectious Diseases Service help you?

Our services are aimed at helping to manage infectious disease outbreaks should they occur. 

We also provide services to you if you are experiencing health concerns as a result of an infectious disease.
