Priority Populations Program

Violence is a serious public health problem. From infants to the elderly, it affects people in all stages of life and from all different backgrounds. Many more survive violence, abuse and neglect and suffer physical, mental, and or emotional health problems throughout their lives. 

In our District we call our violence prevention programs the MLHD Priority Populations Programs.  We strive for excellence in trauma informed care and we are committed to providing a specialist response to violence and trauma through education, advocacy and counselling.
