About our services
We offer different women’s health programs and services that focus on things like reproductive health, health screenings, and providing information.
You can find our clinics in different places in the District. Our Women’s Health Nurses are trained to assist females of all ages, starting from puberty and continuing through menopause and beyond. In Wagga Wagga and Young, we also have a female GP available.
We welcome women from all backgrounds to use our service. This includes Aboriginal women, those from different cultures and languages, women with disabilities, and those in rural or isolated areas. We want to make sure everyone can access the care they need.
We offer services like:
- checking for cervical issues
- screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
- providing contraception, including long-term options
- teaching about breast health and pelvic floor
- giving information about menopause
- offering pregnancy tests, counselling, and referrals
- providing Medical Termination of Pregnancy (abortion) up to 9 weeks.
Pregnancy choices
Sometimes, pregnancies happen unexpectedly. If you or someone you know is going through this and needs help, you can reach out to the Pregnancy Choices Helpline. They provide free, unbiased, and private information about different pregnancy options like parenting, adoption, foster care, and abortion. They can also guide you to services that can assist.
To talk to a knowledgeable health professional, call the Pregnancy Choices Helpline at 1800 008 463 between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday.
If you prefer to speak in your language, call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) at 131 450. Just ask them to connect you to the Pregnancy Choices Helpline.

Family Planning NSW Talkline helps with free and private info and advice on reproductive and sexual health. You can call or email them anytime.
The National Cervical Screening Program suggests that all women aged 25 to 74 who have ever been sexually active should have regular Cervical Screening tests. Regular checks are the best way to protect against cervical cancer.
BreastScreen NSW offers highly effective screening mammograms for the early detection of breast cancer. Find your nearest clinic or mobile location and book an appointment today.
