Tumut Hospital Redevelopment

The $50 million Tumut Hospital Redevelopment involves the planning, design and delivery of a fully integrated, modern health service which meets the needs of the local communities in Tumut, Gundagai, Batlow and Adelong now and into the future.

The Redevelopment involves the construction of a new, single-storey facility on the health service campus just south of the existing hospital buildings. The old hospital buildings were demolished as part of the project.

The new Hospital will offer services under the one roof to allow for the modern delivery of health care. The new Hospital opened to the community in November 2021.

2022: Take a look at the new Tumut Hospital with our virtual tour and wayfinding video.

2020: A Welcome to Country in Wiradjuri and Smoking Ceremony were held on the construction site of the Redevelopment.

The NSW Government announced at least $50 million for the rebuild of Tumut Hospital in August 2018
