Griffith Base Hospital’s maternity team provides care to families from a wide geographical area.  Midwives work within a woman-centred philosophy of care across the full spectrum of the child-bearing year, from the busy midwifery/shared care antenatal clinic, through to caring for babies admitted to our special care nursery.  Midwives work closely with the multidisciplinary team in providing support, education and assistance to approximately 450 women and babies annually.  As a midwife working in Griffith you will experience first hand the exciting challenges that rural midwifery can bring whilst having the support of a friendly and family-focussed midwifery team.

Griffith pick of the bunch
